What Qualifies you for Jannah:

Jannah is a paradise where the Muslim who did virtuous deeds will remain after death. Quran Described Jannah as:

  “Gardens of pleasure”

(Qur’an 31:8)

There are different ways through which a Muslim can enter Jannah. All of them are virtual deeds. Virtual deeds are those which are allowed by Allah and Holy Prophet (SAW) while evil deeds are those which are forbidden in Islam.

Some of the ways of entering the Paradise are :

  • Offer Prayers:

Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:

Whoever believes (has Imaan) in Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him), and establishes the prayer and fasts in the month of Ramadan, it is incumbent upon Allah that He enters him in Jannah.

A strong belief in Allah and His Prophets and offering prayer on time will lead the Muslim to Jannah. Learn Quran and recite it on daily basis and fasting in the month of Ramadan is also important for Jannah.

  • Truthfulness:

Islam focuses on the truth in Quran and as well as in Hadith. Truth has much value in the eye of Allah and that’s why Muslims are not allowed to lie in any condition. Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) said about the truth is:

“Indeed, truthfulness leads to righteousness and indeed righteousness leads to Jannah. (Sahih alBukhari)”

  • Search Of Knowledge:

Seeking Knowledge from birth to death always matters in Islam. Those who die in the way of seeking are considered martyred. There is a hadith quoted in Jami` at-Tirmidhi about knowledge as:

“Whoever takes a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him the path to Jannah”.

  • Daughter’s Brought up:

Islam focuses on the right brought up of children especially those who have more than two daughters and educate them on the right path, the Jannah is guaranteed for him.

Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) said:

“Whoever raises two girls then I and he will enter Jannah like these two (Prophet indicated with his two fingers).”

  • Fulfill the Human Rights:

Islam is always concerned about human rights. Fulfilling the rights of family, relatives, and neighbors is the priority in religion. Allah says in the Holy Quran:

“Indeed We created man in the best make. Then We render him the lowest of the low, except those who believe and do righteous deeds: They shall have a reward unfailing”.

(At-Tin 95:4–6)

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) also said that:

“Anyone whose soul leaves his body and he is free of three things will enter Jannah: Arrogance, stealing from the spoils of war, and debt.”

May Allah (SWT) always guide us on the right path, make us a man of our words, and give us the courage to fulfill our prayers. (Ameen)
